After receiving a Fine Arts degree in Communication Design from the University of North Texas, I made a living as a graphic designer and illustrator for design studios and agencies in the DFW area. I am now a freelance designer, illustrator and commissioned artist while teaching full time by day.
A passionate artist, I draw and paint almost non-stop. I am a watercolorist at heart, but nearly all of my work is done digitally using the app Procreate on an iPad Pro.

To keep abreast of industry trends and to network with fellow artists while keeping my skillset sharp, I keep membership with the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. I have also taught illustration and graphic design at Dubiski CareerTech High School and at the University of Texas in Arlington. My work has appeared in the “Journal of Prosthetics and Orthodics,” “Odyssey” (Cobblestone Publishing) and "Red River Kids Magazine." I have illustrated a number of children's picture books, such as "I Am A Truffle Dog, I Am A Truffle Dog Too, Whack Whack Whack Goes The Tail." I have recently completed work for Disney Lucasfilm and Milk Snob - a company specializing in infant essentials - by illustrating Star Wars characters for their "Little Galaxy, Far Far Away, and The Mandalorian" line of products.
